Baby’s First Checkup

Baby Patrick had his first checkup yesterday afternoon. He’s doing very well & his eating has taken off in the last 24 hours. His I’m-hungry-face is about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.

He's a very healthy little boy. Weighed in at 8 lbs. exactly.

Oh, wow! He looks so healthy, pink/red, and beautiful and handsome! Wow! That’s a good-lookin’ newborn! And he’s learnin’ how to eat. It’s amazing how much they need to eat. Make sure you eat enough–you didn’t gain a lot of weight! I gained 35 pounds and lost 45 pounds over the next seven months! I’m so excited to meet him.

Nic, I gained close to 40! It was just all packed in tight!
